The Judicial Branch Budget provides $19.1 million in additional funding for self-help centers in the trial courts.   It also requires a cost-benefit evaluation of the benefits to the courts and most efficient ways of providing services to the public.

This workshop will review the requirements for the funding and evaluation.  It will provide a new tool to help all courts meet the Guidelines for Self-Help Centers, and provide an opportunity for courts to collaborate on enhanced services.  It will also provide tips and techniques to help courts use their funds as effectively as possible.

Materials for the entire conference can be accessed here.
